Thank you for choosing COMPANION to purchase your Cane Corso puppy. We are sure you will be delighted with what a loving and loyal companion your puppy will be as you bring it into your family.
Below you will find the conditions of sale and guarantee agreement for your puppy.

TERMS OF SALE:
1. All COMPANION Cane Corsos are registerable with the AKC (American Kennel Club) and will carry the COMPANION name on their registration papers. All puppies have life time support from breeder.
2. Registration papers are given at time of purchase unless puppy is of pet quality. If puppy is of pet quality, papers are given after puppy is spayed/neutered. Papers are also marked to indicate puppy is of pet quality and registration is limited. No offspring from pet quality puppy can be registered.
3. All puppies are guaranteed to be free of communicable disease at time of sale. The buyer must have puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 3 days from date of purchase. Failure to do so will result in all guarantees being canceled. Seller accepts no responsibility for any communicable diseases after 3 days.
4. If a serious health problem is noted during the above examination, seller must receive a written statement from buyer's veterinarian within 7 days from date of examination. When available, the buyer will be provided with another puppy of the same sex and quality/value.
5. All puppies are guaranteed to be free of any known hereditary defect. Problems must be reported within 24 months from date of birth. After the puppy is 24 months old, the seller is no longer responsible for replacing puppy/dog. Do contact us of any problems. This will aid in bettering our breeding program for future dog owners.
"Cherry Eye" and Eye Entropia is considered common to the breed and is
not covered under this contract.
Health Guarantee:
All puppies are guaranteed to be free of any known hereditary defect such as crippling hip Dysplasia for up to 24 months old. If such an occurrence happens, buyer agrees to have his/her veterinarian provide seller with written proof of problem within 7 days of finding the problem. Written verification must be provided by buyers veterinarian and diagnoses agreed upon by seller's veterinarian. Seller's veterinarian must confirm diagnoses. Buyer may keep original puppy and have it spayed/neutered. After providing seller with confirmation of spay/neuter and returning all registration papers, seller will provide buyer with replacement puppy of same quality/value when available. If dog/puppy has been bred all guarantees are null and void.
Replacement Policy:
1 Verification must be provided that puppy completed Puppy Kindergarten and Basic Obedience classes during the time frame stated in #7 of this contract.
2 Dog/Bitch must not have been bred.
3 Replacements are made when puppies are available. No guarantee is made as to time frame for replacement.
Under NO circumstances do we grant cash refunds or accept any liability for medical expenses, veterinarian fees, or any other expenses related to the care of your Cane Corso.
6. No replacements will be given due to problems that result from buyers neglect,
however, if neglect is noted, buyer agrees to return dog to seller. Breeder retains the
right to visit, or have a representative visit, the dog periodically to check the dog's
welfare. Should the dog at anytime be found to be mistreated by reason of abuse or
neglect, the breeder has the right of immediate possession without any reimbursement.
Should this clause need to be enforced, the owner shall forfeit the dog's registration
papers to the breeder within seven days of the breeder taking possession.
7. No guarantees are made regarding temperament. The temperament of your puppy is
based on the amount of time YOU give to your dog and to its development and
socialization. Buyer agrees to enroll puppy in Puppy Kindergarten class at 3
months of age and Basic Obedience by 10 months of age with a certified
trainer in a class setting. It is also recommended that you enroll your dog in
a refresher course at 18 months. Under no circumstances should rough training methods
be used on your Cane Corso. Proper socialization and training is a must for your puppy to
be a well-adjusted, welcome member to your family.
8. Buyer agrees to provide yearly veterinarian exams. We recommend you feed the Puppy food
formulated for large breed puppies for their first year. Buyer also agrees to not breed female
before 2nd heat (breed/show quality)
9. Seller is not responsible for any problems with landlord, family members or allergy.
Seller will help in placement of the puppy if buyer is unable to keep him/her for any
reason. Seller retains first option for the dog if buyer decides to sell, give away or destroy
this dog at anytime.
10. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.
11. Deposits are non-refundable.
12. Contract is not valid unless signed by buyer and seller. Buyer must return a signed
original copy of the contract. If signed copy is not returned, no guarantees will
be honored by seller and deposits are non refundable. All guarantees are null and
void if buyer fails to follow any of the above stated terms.
13. The buyer agrees to notify the Breeder of any change of address or phone number
in order for the breeder to keep track of the dog.
14. If the puppy dies during any elective surgery the seller is not responsible for refunding
money or replacing the puppy. We would like to stress that there have been puppies that
died during ear cropping. Do not take this decision lightly.
15. Any/All legal actions are to take place in Erie County, New York.
16. We reserve the right to not sell you a puppy if, for any reason, we feel it is not a good idea.
Deposit will be refunded.
17. Upon signing below, both buyer and seller agree to all terms stated within this contract.

- Proper dosage of Vitamin Ester-C is highly recommended as a daily supplement for the
prevention of joint problems. Studies have showed that this aids in preventing deterioration of
the soft tissue in the joints, providing extra lubrication. Large dogs are more prone to this
malady so please practice prevention.
- Send pictures or videotape of the pup at 1 & 2 years old. |
